As we turn once more around the seasonal wheel and mark the sunset of summers long days of light - we pause before winter’s darkening time of rejuvenation - and reach out to our neighbors near & far in celebration of The Harvest Season - a time of light, laughter and love to shout our gratitude & joy for all that the year has bestowed upon us.



The Annual Golden Valley Harvest Festival is located in the lovely citrus oasis of Orangevale, California. (See Map)


Every year hundreds of people attend the Golden Valley Harvest Festival, now in its 11th year. Designed for the whole family, the Festival offers an inspiring mix of live music and entertainment, nourishing food, unique marketplace treasures, children's handcrafts and gifts, face painting, storytelling, curriculum displays, puppet shows, a Mother Earth Walk, pumpkins and crisp autumn air.



A sampling of what your family could enjoy includes:


  1. •Wholesome entertainment including two stages and wandering musicians

  2. •Make-it-yourself booths for young and old alike to craft or explore in the Gnome & Fairy Village, Mother Earth Walk, and the Pioneer Experience.

  3. •The Elves' Corner – a wonderland for the little ones to shop without their parents for gifts for their family and friends, as well as treasurers for themselves

  4. •The Country Store – handcrafted and one-of-a-kind items created by the many artisans within the Golden Valley community

  5. •An Organic Farmers Market - with local farmers from the greater Sacramento Area and Apple Hill

  6. •Family-friendly vendors offering their wares from hand-crafted jewelry to children’s costumes and clothing and unique gift items
